So I was going to use this on my Cougar..

It's a hood louver center section from a 75 Hurst Olds. It looks like this

And this on a car..

(google fails me with searching)

Anyway... I was doing some googling and came across this.

http://www.raceace.com/

Basically, bolt on hood louvers that are real.

An underhood temp reduction would be GREAT which is what started my entire hood louver quest to begin with. The look, I'm indifferent to. Not sure if I like chrome or just painted to match the car. Anyway.. thoughts? They look like the Lund crap, sorta, but, I need something for function..

im kind of 50/50 on that

im iffy... id play with it on the old hood first before i do anything. im not sure which i like better if i had to choose though.

50-50 too, but i think i like the single one more than the double if you were gonna do it.

Agreed and it has to be big like the 442 one, not a dinky little one
LS6rally
id say the single one. and paint it to match the car, with maybe some maroon accents to match the top
Nick?
Single one looks good
