how many guys would actually be interested in doing one?
its a little pricey on my end he wants travel pay to
but i think its like 80 bucks for a pull
250 for a sportbike tune
350 for a vtwin pull
450 for a full all out race tune [takes about 4 hours to do]
so im just putting a feeler out there see what the club thinks,i have 3 bikes that definetly want to do them aleady

thats what sucks tunes are expensive there basically taking your bike and starting all over with adjusting everythind a tune will take about 1.5 to 2 hours on a dyno a numbers pull 20 minutes and that just strapping the bike down time

Aug 25 2008, 09:13 PM
ya you could do that to dos but ive seen guys who leave my shop with a map that i instaleed go home plug in there lap top screw with the numbers and blow the thing up,personally this guy is very good at what he does he comes with great refrences and is a motor head i just dont trust a guy who buys a dyno goes to a '' how to learn to run a dyno seminar'' and charges you 200 bucks to dyno your bike and adjust your lean curve wrong

he said roughly 1.5 to 2 hours on tunes the only one that take 4 hours is the race tune and that is basically useless on the street , unless we arre going to the superstreet bike shoot out at maxton i wouldnt waste your money on a race tune

I was wondering about my bike as well. Being carbed wouldn't it take forever to get a tune on it? Considering the tank would have to come off every time a carb adjustment was needing to be done. Maybe just a numbers pull would be nice for me.

dont know how this guy does it but ive seen them prop the tank open and tune the carbs like that

with an injected bike don't waste your time trying to do it without a dyno you may get it close but never right
