dayum!!!! I always ride with my visor up too eek.gif
Kady
I usually only put my visor up at the light.. Usually keep it closed the rest of the time. Unless I'm dying in the heat. I just don't like people to see me, tht's why i got a smoked visor.
Stangman_NB
yeah I keep my visor up and wear safety goggles cause I love to feel the fresh air.....after seeing this dudes face I may be a bit more careful though

pretty sure there are pterodactyls stuck to my visor.....

mine stays open around town and closed on the highway for the most part.

you could always move like 1 or two inches and then it wouldnt hit you in the face.
Kady
Huh?

move your head to avoid getting hit by the pigeon

on another note.... if he was really doin 125 his visor would have flipped itself down.
Kady
With my old visor, it used to flip itself up at anything over 100..

The visor WAS down on impact.

That is the aftermath through the visor!!

exactly!!!! Imagine what would have happened had he had his visor up!
Kady
Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad because it wouldn't have broken the visor into his face.

Errrr, No. That takes half the fun out of it. It is funny that we were trying to think of ways to prevent the pigeon busting our face instead of just not doing 125.. You bring up a good point.
Stangman_NB
Yeah doing a buck twenty five is not usually a good idea, but I do think that had he kept his visor open he could have fucked himself up much worse, imagine that pigeons beak or claw going in his eye or something.
hsssss
i got hit with a junebug doing 85mph on RT 95 with my FZR ...it hit so hard it put a crack in my visor ....But Dammmmmmmm a winged rat ...just wow !

F=mv^2, so going 125 means 15625 lbs of instantaneous force on the helmet. You can probably expect your skull to be caved in if you don't have a helmet!
