A message from Tony:

Not sure about doing a trackday? Maybe this will help convince you?

For no charge, you can sit in on our "beginner rider" classroom time.

Then, put on your gear and get on the track for a 30 minute "Follow the
Leader" session!

If you're totally psyched to ride, you can then sign up for the trackday (if
it's not SOLD OUT).

Or, if you're still concerned, you can simply hang out all day and attend
the remaining classroom sessions.

It's like getting a free riding course! Not to mention getting a chance to
actually ride the track!

OK... you're thinking how good can the instruction be if we're giving it
away for Free?

Well... your Chief Instructor is none other than Ken Condon.

Ken's been a longtime MSF Instructor. He writes the Proficient Motorcycling
column for Motorcycle Consumer News. He even has his own riding skills book
and DVD out called, Riding in the Zone.

Anyway, if this sounds like something you'd like to do, pop over to the
TonysTrackDays website and send me an email from the Contact Us form.

Let me know which date you'd like to attend and we'll do our best to get you
out there!

You don't need a 'card' to ride the track. There is a difference between racing and doing trackdays. Racing you would need a race license.

Trackdays are an opportunity for you to get out there on the track, in a safe environment to work on your skills and have more fun than you can imagine in one day. You get to push your limits in an environment were there are no cops, no cars, no speedlimits.

Yes, we teach track riding. There are expert racers and experienced track riders who will provide you with classroom time and on track instruction.

I would recommend anyone to sign up. I don't know if Tony's group has suit rentals, but you will need your gear to get out there. By gear I mean helmet, suit (some tracks allow jackets that zip to the pants), gloves, and boots. Nothing less.

You'll learn a lot in one day of track riding. I felt like a significantly better rider after just one day, and a rainy day at that. Plus you get to use your bike like it was meant to, in a much safer environment than the street (no trees, no cars, no cops, safety crew on site, etc).

It's a lot of fun, just make sure your bike is good to go. It helps to trailer your bike there as riding it to the track may make you the "toughguy", it certainly isn't too practical. You'll have to tape up all your lights, remove your mirrors, license plate, and it's recommended you have water wetter and not antifreeze in the engine.

If anyone does go, be sure to bring some extra cash for the photographer. You'll get some awesome action shots.

There are places that rent suits.

Of course you can bring the g/f to watch and help be the pit crew!! And camping is allowed at our trackdays and can be alot of fun.

We also offer a full track walk after day one of a two day event. This allows you to get out on the track and really see distances, lines, brake markers, turn in points etc that will significantly help you at speed.

This page will give you a link to two places that rent leathers...
