ok so I was coming back from Newport last night with a friend coming up on the exit to get to the Ave when an Acura Integra and Mustang buzzed by me to go lline up under the overpass. My friend was like "you're gonna follow them aren't you?" Pfffffffffftttt, hell yeah!

So they line up, I'm behind the mustang, a red 97-98 something or other GT, the Acura is this silver thing with primered hood and trunk, not too flashy of a car. So they launch, the mustang takes off, the Acura is still spinning at the start. While it's spinning we're sitting there watchin his watermelon shooter exhaust bounce up and down actually hitting the ground. So we're laughing.........
the freakin thing caught up to the mustang and beat it by like two car lengths!

needless to say.....the mustang just kept driving, didn't return to the ave and disappeared off towards somerset..

i was kinda shocked cuz you could tell the mustang had work.

he must of been cuz the Acura sped off and took the bottom of the Ave exit and the mustang just slowly drove off

You know what else is embarrassing? There is a racing section and you put this in the lounge. Glad you got to be a spectator and got a chuckle out of it.

96-98 GT's were garbage unless you do the PI swap on them.....

Its not even that the intergra was really that quick its that a Non-PI stang is just that slow lol

.......i was secretly rootin for the mustang...........sssshhhhh. It was a pretty car!

Seriously those Mustangs with gears, exhaust, filter and pulleys will run in the 14.5-14.8 range.....throw the 99+ heads on them and you have an easy mid 13 second car.

i know the kid in the integra he just pit the turbo kit on it, and he has been racing some fast ass cars and beating them. ill catch up with him one day and see what that car has
