wtf? It's an Edelbrock intake with a big fat MADE IN THE USA stamp on it. The rust is from a few years ago when I was going to use a hood scoop..I never removed the filings when I cut the air cleaner hole in my old hood.

hsssss
Naval Jelly rust remover ...i bet that would work best with less scrubbing
gina
wheel acid.
BoostedDakota
buy a couple of intake gaskets and take it off and have it bead blasted

when rust used to drip on the fuel tanks of the peterbilt i used alcoa spray gel, not sure how it would work on a porous surface like the intake, but it worked great on the tanks.
DR. GONZO
wire brush and a can of WD-40 sounds gehtto but the shit works as long as it's not polished then obviously use a polish lol
PSquare75
The intake is just a rough as cast finish, it's not polished.
