so i went for a ride today, went by one of my customers shops, he sells scooters. well i saw an aprilia rsv 1000R sitting out front, so i stopped in. i guess the company that owns vespa, also owns aprilia, and a few other companies, so he decided to stock a few aprilia's. he fell in love with one, the rsv 1000R, and bought it for himself, put an ackrapovic exhaust, power commander, and changed out the sprockets, took it home, and the wife said no way, so its for sale now. i didnt test ride it as it was starting to rain and i wanted to get home, but i did sit on it. felt lighter than my daytona, didnt think that was possible, and it sounded amazing. absolutely gorgeous bike, i probably woulda traded in the daytona then and there if i wasnt planning on buying a truck.

its not hard to find parts, just most aren't readily available, and they cost a lot more. ive been able to find basically everything i could want for the triumph, with the exception of full carbon fiber fairings, but there in the works, haha.

all there parts are performance orientated, getting factory parts are like pulling teeth, and if you like paying shipping for parts from Europe good for you. I have dealt with all the local aprilla dealers and there all snooty pieces of shit! there customer service is terrible.

ya there bad ass bikes, to be used what there made for, the race track, but on the street, well its a aprilla!!!!!

Tthe comments posted here are my opinion and not the shops!!!!!!!

the RSV mille R is a nasty, nasty bike. One of the most well rounded bikes out there. Definitely not cheap, but more unique than most of the stuff on the road...and god damn are they quick.
