I know we have a project log section BUT the bike section has been dead and Lord knows where the bikers have gone, so this goes here cause I said so.

Well my bike is an 07 ZX14 Limited Edition. I just picked it up with 3k on the clock and she was bone stock except for some Kawi rear fender eliminator. The guy I bought it from, bought it new from Wareham Cycles back in 07 and didn't ride it much due to the fact he had a newborn daughter. The bike is spotless and doesn't have a single scratch on it.
I plan to take things slowly with her as money allows. Here are some pics of her in stock form:

Last week I ordered a Hotbodies undertail from Creative along with a Ti Force high mount full exhaust for her. I received the undertail on Friday and installed it but haven't had the chance to snap some pics just yet (maybe tonight I will get some) and hopefully I will have the new exhaust today or tomorrow.
After that is done, I want to save a few pennies and get a BMC air filter for her along with a Power Commander. I also plan on getting the wheels striped, doing some custom paint work on the side grilles and getting a red chrome windscreen for her.
Thanks to Creative for getting me a good deal on a HotBodies undertail and a TiForce high mount exhaust. here are pics of the exhaust and undertail installed.

why the high mount?
Stangman_NB
Jul 20 2009, 02:35 PM
I like the look of high mounts and it's a full titanium system. According to a lot of online sources TiForce exhausts are arguably the best out there, with companies like Hindle and Brocks

It's not dead in here, just not super active!
Bringing bike project logs into the section isn't a bad idea, I know I have one in the PL section that could be moved in here should someone decide to do it.

Have you noticed a performance diffrence from this and the busa?
Stangman_NB
Jul 23 2009, 07:41 PM
I was telling Paul the other day this bike bone stock feels like it could definitely hang with the Busa, so I can only imagine once I have some more mods into her.
Yeah I saw the PC5 for it but the price is up there.....my budget is somewhere between shit and dirt right now

Thanks for the compliments guys!

i get most of my stuff from either schnitz racing or mps racing. they cater to the big bikes mostly. zx-14 and busa. i believe schnitz has parts for lots of other bikes also. prices aren't bad and they run specials a lot. check out the package pricing on power upgrades for schnitz when they run em.
