I know it's a haul for most everyone here, but I'm going to a Fastrax-led trackday at Beaverun in Wampum, PA on August 2nd. They're having a special too, $100 for the day.

I haven't been to Beaverun yet, but friends of mine speak highly of the facility. It's about 40 minutes from the Pittsburgh airport off of I-76.

sounds like a ton of fun, ill be on a jet plane tho, otherwise id go out the night before, i have family in Washington i could stay with so its not a big deal, let me know how it goes,

A trackday on a Sunday eh?

If I was not instructing at a two day event in NH...I would give this a try. Always love trying out new tracks!!

Fastrax does a few on the weekends, but usually at Nelson Ledges. This one at Beaverun was a surprise, especially for the price.

Got some pics. The day went really well. We stayed at a hotel nearby so no getting up at 5am to get to the track, and although we had a wet start to the day, it dried up quite nicely and we had a beautiful afternoon. 6 sessions, 95 miles covered on the 2 mile track. It's an awesome facility too, I believe it was built in 2001, and it shows. 12 turns, elevation, and an awesome layout. If any of you have the chance to make it there, you'll be glad you did.
