Full Version: My Dad's Regal Buffed
Rekless Racing > Sight & Sound > Appearance and Detailing
Bacardi
So, I buffed, waxed and cleaned the inside of my dad's car the other day. It's been long neglected (by myself, he's been asking forever) and it was much needed. It got lightly wet sanded in areas to remove deeper scratches then completely rotary buffed. Products used:

3M Rubbing compound
3M Polishing compound
3M perfect it 3000 scratch and swirl removal
DoDo Juice Supernatural
DoDo Juice Purple Haze

And here's the before and afters:

Those of you going to CFK, if you need your car, bike or truck cleaned for the show let me know and I can figure something out to come out early. The more people who get involved on this the cheaper I can make it for everyone. Anything from basic cleans to full out buffs can be done. I realize moneys tight for a lot of people right now but I figured I'd throw it out there.

Stangman_NB
great job! shoot me a PM with how much it'd be to do a bike
J Kellz
how much would you charge for a full buff IFFFF i came to canada
dosmoney
im not sure if illbe making it to cfk but if you still wanna offer to do my car, lemme know
Bacardi
lol.gif Why would you come all the way to canada? Just a straight buff (like I did with my dads car) or a wet sand and buff (like I did with the lincoln last year)? Straight buff would be 200, wet sand and buff would be 400.

I can do it regardless. What do you want done?
J Kellz
maybe wet sand and buff then, cause i have alot of deeper scratches that i dont think a regular buff will get out
Bacardi
If it's really deep you'll need touch up paint. A buff wont get it out. I'd have to take a look at it. If you need a wet sand and buff I'll knock it down to 350, rekless discount. If you want it done. Count on/budget a wet sand and buff but I may be able to get you away with just a regular buff. If you can, get close up pics of the car with a decent camera and some shots of the bad areas.
J Kellz
ok ill take some pics next week and send em to you or sully
Bacardi
sounds good.

350 CDN i'm assuming?

you guys missed out on the demonstration after wards. The wax she used is ridiculously high end. she dumped a cup of water on the fender and the car stayed fucking dry!!!!! it all just ran right off. Her dad was absolutely floored when it was done.
