Xbox Live is getting updated August 11th and you will be able to buy games and download them to your hard drive. Theres a video on the spotlight about the updates, its pretty cool.

they shwcased this like July 3rd.

no longer play my xbox since i got ps3, but it seems lke a cool feature.

youll also be getting facebook and twitter in the winter (i think)

if you intend to use it, you are probably going to have to buy another HD.

when i tried the install feature over the spring, i think it took 6-7 GB for gears of war 2 to install. doenst leave much room for a 20GB HD hell even for the 60GB.

and what about if and when you get sick of games?

this is a last ditch effort by microsoft to compete with the ps3 since MS's HD DVD failed horribly. They are making the games downloadable so they can sell more hard drives because the tradidtional DVD's cant hold enough information for the games of the present and future. MICROSOFT F(please insert disc 2)..................................AIL!

all stuff that's been available on ps3 in one form or another. I switched just a few months ago after I got my ps3 for christmas. Was a ps2 guy then xbox i should have stayed loyal. good for xbox for trying though. The new dashboard is what killed it for me.
