That's a good find. Quite a significant transformation from the 1st generation to present.

for the record, those pics show the last year of each model. The 1st gen started in 1981, 2nd gen in 85, 3rd in 89, etc

Yep my mom had an 83 Datsun/Nissan Maxima when I was growing up. That car had every imaginable option including a voice that told you when you were low on fuel, a door was ajar, and many other things. Definitely a car way ahead of its time.
