I'll be attending my next track day at Nelson Ledges Road Course on Saturday, Sept 12. Fastrax is sponsoring this event, and if anyone wishes to make the trip out I can provide you with a coupon code to get in the event for $100, instead of $150.

Nelson Ledges is in Garrettsville, OH, less than an hour SE of Cleveland.

I hope to have pictures and video after the event as well assuming I have help with me.

We had an outstanding day at the track with beautiful weather and awesome track conditions. This is the first track day I've attended that wasn't threatened by rain which made things even better. The only bummer was we had a few cowboys going balls out and wrecking, there was about 1 an hour. There was even a crash in the beginner group which was a surprise, since they're not going too quickly.

I was only able to run 4 times since I had to be in Toledo later on that night, so I was on the road at 2:30 after my last outing.

I found there was a professional photographer there who took some neat shots that are a better representation of the speed on the track. I haven't bought any yet but here are the watermarked shots:

Here's some videos from the day, taken from the end of the back straight heading into turns 12 and 13

While I've never been to, but I have been near Coshockton. Chris (B29P38) is in New Philadelphia, not too far from Coshockton.

When did you leave?

i had gf's in new philly(new philadelphia) a while back. i left all that in 1990. my grand parents still live in Coshocton. philly is just 45min or so from C-town. i stayed in Coshocton for about a year after I got out of the Navy in 1996. i had a gf that lived in new philly in 1999. i know a guy that plays in a local band out there by the name of Roger Philabaum and he plays guitar for a band called Sneeky Peek. they play in new philly a lot. i used to ride the bus with Roger to river view high school. i bumped into him a couple of times since. nice guy. shreds on the guitar too! Ask Chris if he ever heard of Sneeky Peek? i used to get around in Newcomerstown a lot too. called it Nukeysburg. My old stomping grounds....
