So the cobalt ss/sc came with heated leather seats or recarro seats. The cobalt ss/tc comes with seats that hold better than the recarros and are more comfy than the leathers. They really are some of the best seats Ive sat in!!

So, Sarah and I are were at a local cobalt show on Sunday (she took home best delta body wild, best engine, and best female ride) and I overheard the best thing ever. This guy with a turbo charged ss was saying how he wanted the ss leathers. So I quickly mention that i have leathers. After he looked at ours which Sarah keeps immaculate, and Sarah looked at his, I told him I would trade him straight up and I'd even swap them out for him. I shit a brick when he said yes. I had a buddy with a socket set and right there after judging was done, I swapped them right there. Everyone who was there was scratching their head trying to figure out why the hell he would want to do this swap. One guy even outright said to him while I was working on the swap "that's a good deal.... for them" LOL Now these seats usually get swapped for the leathers but with hundreds of dollars. I got em for 30 minutes worth of work. I'm fucking stoked!!!!!!!!!!! Sarah wasn't sure, but she hung one tight turn and was in love!

i have the matching ss/tc back seats. We swapped fronts and backs right there. the only thing I didnt give him yet is the back head rests since we dont run them.... they were in the garage for safe keeping. I have his, he gets ours thurs at hte meet

oh nice...I like the leathers and love the recaros....I need better pics and description of the ones you just got...is that suede in the center? if so I love that look.

yeah they are suede in the middle with like a canvas mesh type thing on the sides.... the bolsters are awesome and the seat is comfy as hell! GM and their performance division did these right!

I'll second that; not only do the bolsters hold you in place even when you're scrawny (if you have a larger build they might be a little tight) but the material in the middle (it's suede like, called "ultralux suede") grabs onto damned near any material clothing you are wearing and stops you from slinging around.

A bit similar. The Cobra seats (for me, at least) had no "give" room for an individual with a wide rear (which was nice, but painful for the wide load crew). The SS seats allow a minor amount of mercy .
