Already replaced the slave and master. Master Twice.

Clutch Fork was fine when we yanked the old clutch off which originally had 100 grand on it, (Just to tell you I don't beat on the car 'regularly' , just on the highway I have fun)

Just seemed like the fork was not sitting right on the pressure plate.

So I am sending it back to ACT, see if they can find something defective, if not I am pretty much screwed.

I've also decided to sell the car once it's fixed, financially it would be wise choice since we're going into the winter and it's going to slow down business wise. I have no clue what I am going to get for it, I still need to call the bank.

Depresses the fuck out of me though, big time, it was a definitely a love/hate relationship.

Stiff as fuck. obviously the pressure plate stuck out a little more than stock we had to adjust the clutch so the fork wouldn't be really forced up against the pressure plate.

At the same time I went to stiffer trans mounts, car shuddered big time before the clutch was broken in, flywheel is friggin glazed though, and nvm the red blue you see on it, it was a reflection from a US flag by it.

Willing to bet theyre gonna tell you it wasnt adjusted properly and to go pound sand then.

Well thats a plus, have you heard of any other stories similar using the same clutch setup? Maybe a defective batch?

some mods are tough to try to use in daily drivers. the racing on the outer side of the pressure plate basket is from the yoke hitting or riding on the basket. the glazing on the clutch is from the pressure plate not fully decompressing the pressure plate fingers. throw out bearing looks ok. you can try to rough up the clutch with a file to get some life back out of it. if you want to continue to run that oversized pressure plate you will need to get a new yoke arm or modify the old one to clear the basket. most yoke arms are fixed so there is no adjustment. i hate to hear that you spent good money on a mod and that it didn't fit very well. i bet this horse was hard to shift from the time you put the new clutch in. i would go back to stock or get another modified assy that is a better fit. sorry if all this is obvious. unless your car is super loud you should have heard that metal scraping every time you shifted gears. wow! that's a lot of work.

It shifted beautifully when it was adjusted afterwards. But yeah, if it's covered, I'm getting an easier pressure plate for the fork to work with for the clutch.
DJSpellBound
oh yeah, ACT said that they will replace clutch, tob and resurface my flywheel for free. I'm also downgrading my pressure plate from xtreme to heavy duty so the new pressure plate won't bend the crap out of my new fork.

I'm actually impressed with the service people at ACT, thought I didn't have a shot in hell since it was past the 90 day warranty on it.

That's some shitty damage to the clutch. But on the other hand, good to hear that they're working quite well with you on getting this resolved!
