Full Version: '94 Accord Headlight Adjustment

My son has been complaining he can't see very well at night. I bought some Hella 9006 bulbs and installed them yesterday. I tried to raise the light throw a little bit for him. I can only see a large adjustment screw on the top of the housing. The screw moves the whole housing up and out or down and in. I just want to raise them up, not left and right. On my stock Focus housing, I know those are factory set so you don't blind other drivers. Am I missing some, or is this the only adjustment the Accord has ?

there might be an adjustment on the side of the headlight by removing the side corner marker

I did a little more searching and found this. It's a start anyway.

Process:
1. Remove the three LONG screws that hold on the horizontal white protective cover over the alignment screw. (This cover is on the back of the High Beam section)
2. manually rotate the wheel left and right to achieve desired location.
3. Drive around to make sure my lights are not all over the place.
4. Make modifications
5. Drive around some more
6. Reinstall the white cover

that is correct...

but instead of driving around park about 10 feet from a wall facing the beams towards it and adjust it that way.

Yeah, I'm not driving around like an ass. Just gotta find the right spot when it's dark.
