I was drivin to my friends wedding and listening to my music no prob, then the music goes off and then I see smoke coming from the amp sad.gif

After I got to the church I check it out, no more smoke, so I tried playing some music to see if its working at all, its still sending signals to the sub, but nothing to the speakers, but the sub sounds muffled

anyone know if I can fix it?

Its an older infinity amp, but it has a lot of sentimental value cuz it used to be sam's system and he installed it for me... Any help would be appreciated thanks

Best bet would be to talk to TAP.

Hows he inline fuse?

IME, it's much cheaper to buy a new amp than to repair an old one... i hear you with the sentimental attachment tho, i had a nice kenwood 200w amp that belonged to my cousin before he passed on, worked for years and then it stopped working, i priced out getting it fixed and the wanted what it would of cost me to buy a new one just to look at it... so i bought a new one, but i think i still have that kenwood lying around somewhere....

Dicky i can look at it or send it to my amp repair guy i know no clue if it is doable or how much it will cost but if you can get it to me i can do my best for ya bud it may just be a cap or something that smoked no promises and if it is i can prob replace it

take pics of it and send them to me and if you can open it up and take pics and send em to me that would be awesome as well
