alright winters here and i have that stang of the road.

i wanna get the 5 speed swap goin before snow hits

can someone help me throw a parts list of what i need so i can stary ebay'in and craislist'in

Let's see...you need the trans, clutch pedal, quadrant and cable, firewall adjuster, clutch, flywheel shifter, shifter boot, the shifter bezel, nss, maybe a brake pedal and I'm not sure about the d/s. There's most likely more. Maybe a computer also because you're still running f/i

dead on except for needing a computer the 5 speed can run on a automatics computer but not the other way around. I did this swap about 12 years ago on an 88 and didn't have to touch the ECU at all.

the going rate for a 5 speed swap is 500 bucks i think i have a bunch of random shit you need lol

bellhousing
clutch
boot
bezel
knob
shifter.



things you need
flywheel
pilot and throw out bearing
nss plug
cable
firewall adjuster
clutch fork
floor in car cut open a bit more
re route the speedo cable thru the other hole in firewall and run clutch cable thru old speedo hole

I forgot which way you could use the computer which is why I mentioned it...lol

Console top plate is different, as well.

As a side note, you might want to make sure your e-brake actually works.. They tend to wither away and fail on automatics because no one ever uses them. On the first good yank, you might find a weak cable or link, at the worst time.
