I am trying to find a rebuild kit for a chevy 2.5 4 cylinder motor and there is nothing that I can find? is anyone aware of any good sites that may sell parts and a forum that would have info on these motors ? only info I can find would be a haynes manual for a s-10 thats all ?

Check the Haynes X Body manual, 80 - 85, as well, for the FWD variant.

I do know that Comp Cams has some parts for them, but I wouldn't expect earth shattering performance, but they are near indestructable. Iron head and block ftw.

Haha, You sound like some friends who had Quad 4s when I was in college... I laughed at them when each of them needed head gaskets at ~ 80K.
