The new BMW superbike, what do you think?

Looks good! I wish I could afford one!

I sat on it last year at the motorcycle show and thought it was pretty nice, but couldn't get a much better opinion other than it's some effective eye candy. But for $26k it better be!

I have read a ton of reviews and articles about that bike....it has set a new standard in the liter bike category and the Jap bikes have some catching up to do.

Really cause this all just looks like marketing propeganda. Good to know its actually a decent bike

Yeah the hp numbers are very underated on this bike, set the computer to track mode (flip a switch inder the seat) and it's putting out 198 to the wheel on a bike that actually weighs less than it's Japanese liter bike competitors. The frame is a completely unique design as well and supposedly handles beyond comparison.

They are nowhere near the 26k price tag mentioned earlier as well, if I recall the last mag article I saw on it stated they will be in the 14k range, give or take a little.

The new price is unbelievable. The bike I sat on had a price tag of $25,999 and given what it featured it certainly seemed like it might be worth it. Seeing it for under $14k sounds like an absolute steal!

I'm sure I'll start seeing these pop up at the track this year. I'd love to hear some firsthand opinions of it. It's not often you have a bike like this come along!

yeah Jim they are saying these bikes can kill the liter bikes they are competing against, can handle like the lighter bikes based on how well their suspension is set up and have more than enough power to kill the hyper bikes such as the 14 and Busa.....this is one sick ass ride!!!!!!
wantahertzdonut
Well, the bike is one thing. But it's the rider that wins races at the end of the day!

Either way I'll be following the bikes through the professional series to see how they do.
