iam getting 17x9 cobra rims

what should i get for offset?

i plan to run 245's in the front 275's in the rear

for the fox i imagine?


Mustangs run pretty aggressive offsets.


I'd say low to mid 20's front and rear. Should clear the brakes fine and flush up to the fender just right.

yeah, it's possible, but those would likelly be sucked into the fenders a bit.

i know my 98 had a low 20s offset in front, which was pretty flush, and like a 25 or 30 in the rear which was slightly inside the fender line.

brake clearance won't be the issue in the 20s for the mustang. it's all about getting it as close to flush as possible, that way you can push the limits of your width based on backspacing.

I had 17x9 cobras on my car and the 245's looked alittle stretched and goofy. I'd get some 255s for the front

255's will rub when you cut the wheel...When i first had the notch it had 255's all the way around and it would rub when i cut the wheel backing out of a parking spot

fox and notch have different offsets than the sn95. The sn95 is much more aggressive up front so you can fit that 255 or 265, but thats because it's an extra 10mm off center line.

i say GT500. They look so hot on fox's for some reason.

Depends who you are i guess..If i ever bought another fox it would get a 5 lug swap asap.

It only opens up the options for better wheels and brakes. You know nothing important.

Who needs brakes when you can put a chute on it

i dont wanna spend a ton of money on rims and / 5 lug swap

and cobra rims are the only 4 lug rims i like and there fairly cheep

these look nice...and everyone and their mom doesn't have them

even these would be better than cobra r's

i couldent find any 4 lug 03 cobra's , i did concider them. i did buy a set of rims tho , ill show them off next meet iam able to go too
