iS it worth it to replace my rear slide window with lexan?

in terms of apearance, difficulty, and benefit.
LSRengineering
Lexan scratches easier and wont have as nice a finish but it is strong as fuck.

Im just looking for a cleaner hotrod look. Idk if I want my slider, but we will see once summer hits and I no longer have AC.

My Race Car has a lexan windshield like josh said they scratch Real Real Easy I would just keep the glass. it would look cool at first but when its scratched up it looks like hell and is hard to see out of.

thanks

I'm going to agree with what everyone else is saying. Lexan is a strong and durable material BUT its finish is very delicate. It may only look crystal clear for a short period before you start getting scratches and imperfections.
hsssss
keep the glass

Pepboys sells replacement rear glass for your s15. At least the did when I had that body style. Really easy install. I cought my slider from them. They come pre tinted too!

Get a non slider rear glass. Should be cheaper than Lexan at a junkyard.
J Kellz
get the lexan and 3m clearcoat it. no more scratches

insure the glass on the truck, break the back window. and tell the Ins. company you want a non slider window. remeber insurance covers stupidity. tell them you slid a 2x4 through it. and really do it. then its not fraud!

it'd be cheaper for me to buy one at that point lmao.
