Hey was curious if someone could lead me in the right direction. 2-3 years ago I did alot of stereo installs subs,cd players,ams etc. I never did a flip down well the GF asked me to do one for her in her truck for the kids. I am looking at the units that have the dvd player built in etc. Im not one to pay someone rather learn by trial and error myself so with that said has anyone ever installed one and could give me some pointers or lead me to a website with a good how to. Her vehicle is a 1995 Gmc Jimmy. Thanks Paul

just make sure to buy the proper harness and ground the wire that is supposed to go to the parking brake cable and find out what the code you need to enter to be able to play dvds while driving

hes talking about a flip down from the ceiling. not a flip out from the front. you dont need an ebrake line for those

I have done it i am right down the street from you and if you want a hand next weekend ask and i will see what i can do on saturday to help you out

i have done a ton and hate doing them all and it is a perminent install you screw it up thats it you need a whole new head liner

I will give you a hand so you dont screw it up but over all it is very easy to do

how about a dirt cheap set of 5.6" headrest screens?

Id be all over them but no where to mount in the seats there really is no head rest in that truck unless I mounted to back of seat? how cheap is cheap?
