Question is, what do you all think of the halos and leds? Rice? I wanted projectors, or some form of headlight since the stockers are only marginally better than a flashlight... but I'm unsure if I wanna hook up the extras?

i say hook them up...just dont use them not feeling them at all

swap the LED's to amber ones, and use them as turn signals

This strickes me as the best use for halos but I don't know if it'll get you in trouble with DoT regulations.

I'm on the fence about halos for some reason, I want to like them, I used to like them, but after finding out how problem-ridden BMW's get to be I don't think I want anything resembling anything BMW on my car. It's not as ricey as Z3 louvers but it's along the same lines, I think.

trust me DJ, i didnt want headlights but i NEED them . my current ones barely lihht up the reflective road strips. i like the orange led idea though. im on the fence about the halos too. honestly i would be happy with projectors

oh and yeah, im gettin the black ones, provided they email me back

i say wire them up and just use them whenever you want..no one says you have to use them all the time...and throw some HIDs in there if you wanna see better

for sure. im still doing my homework on hids, but ultimately thats what im gonna do.

I got my lights the other day... and the bastards sent me the chrome ones and now wont reply to my emails.... SO either I'm stuck with chrome or I'll have to pull em apart and paint em. I dont know, they're growing on me... they may end up black, I cant decide. They're a hell of a lot brighter than my stock lights, which is the important thing. I can see potholes in the dark now!
Anyways to the pics. Yes, I know my wheels are mismatched. Snow tires on the front. Yes my car is filthy, and YES, I know my hood needs painted still.








Now what do you guys think?

actually kinda like the chrome...it makes the car look pissed off like crazy eyes.

Either the output absolutely sucks with those projectors (I'm sure its way better than stock) or the alignment is out of wack.

I havent aimed them yet. I was deciding what to do with them.... whiiiiiiich ended up being this:
Point of no return!!!!! Pics on the car to come in the day, pics of them aimed... well... when I get around to it. Which might be May considering how FUCKING COLD IT IS!!! But yeah, its still better than stock, I just gotta find a nice flat spot to aim them with.

Yeah, I LOVE the black. I think they look so much better now. I just need to figure out what kind of bulbs are in there so I can get an HID kit. The ebay auction says H1 Hi and low, but theres no way those are the same bulbs even visually. The highs kinda look like an h3.... and well I havent peeked inside the projector yet.

Now if if only it would stop snowing! I could hook up the halos.
