thanks guy.

That site i linked is the same biz as the Turbo LS vid I posted a few days back. The ownder of KBX is Rob and hes a great guy. I've talked to him about joining up here a few times, but hes what I would call crazy busy. I also emailed him a link to his thread so he can see what your looking to do and maybe help you.
Sully
ok so dont buy a chip, get an SCT tuner... period!

second off, I just got off the phone with Rob from KBX performance, and he said he would check out the link to this thread and try to help ya out. He also made light of something even crazier about his explorer....HMMMMMMMMM

Mike, you have a few options in front of you depending on what your goals are. If you are looking for just a little more power without breaking the bank then a CAI, Exhaust, and SCT tune will do you fine.

If you are looking for something more serious in bolt on form then go HERE.

The 4.0 SOHC V6 that is in your truck is a pretty popular engine now that the S-197 Mustang's came out with it in their base model back in 2005. That opened up allot of options for bolton performance parts that can be installed onto your truck with little to no modification to get it to work. Keep in mind that there will be some Mustang 4.0 parts that will not work with your 4.0 X because you are running a different chassis. If you are willing and/or able to weld and do a little metall fabrication then doing your own turbo system isn't out of the picture. Usually for most that is not an option, though I do feel it is worth mentioning.

Thanks for the invite Sean. I just got back inside from the garage doing a little work on the Exploder otherwise I would have responded sooner. Finishing up another new custom A-1000 fuel system. Allot of custom fabrication in this phase of the build.

Good luck with your power endeavors Mike P.
