Thats the main reason I wanted a denali was for the 6.0.. towing with the 5.3 must blow balls.

Nice! Ouch on gas though, but good if you need it for towing.

Most people I talk to would rather have the 5.3 than the 6.0. I always liked the denali's

Just curious but why? Aside from some MPG the 6.0 is better?

What's wrong with a 6.0?

The little extra power isn't worth the terrible gas mileage. The 5.3 is a very strong motor.

Theyre both strong, heck theyre the exact same motors less the bore sizing. But I like the 6.0

I don't know why but a lot of my customers say that.

the 5.3 gets better gas mileage in the smaller vehicle but towing and in a vehicle this size since this is the xl they would suck gas big time. with a tune I should be around 18mpg on the highway which is what my jeep does anyways lol

you wont get that with out towing. My father's sierra denali gets 15 with exhaust intake a nd a efi live tune. Towing Adams gto to the track on an 18 foot open car trailer i was getting about 12.5
