So its been a great start to my riding season. it was gorgeous today so i took the triumph out. washed it, went for a ride in the park...


well im coming over a hill in the park, going 10 maybe 15 mph and i hit a pot hole, the throttle jumped, which is usually no big deal, just release the throttle and it stops, except this time it didn't, it just froze. i lost control of the bike and was headed straight for an on coming van, as i regained control my only option was to swerve to the left, at which point i was headed for trees. so i did the only thing i could. i aimed for the opening with the best chance of survival and prayed. i nicked the tree with my leg, bike got launched, landed nose first. i jumped off and tried to land on anything but my head, and the bike went end over end.

went over the hill hit the pot hole, throttle got stuck, avoided the van and heres the rest:

so heres the path i was left with after avoiding the van, you can see my options were limited to trees. the red line indicates my tire tracks.

this was my last second effort to avoid the tree.

yes, if every plastic is damaged. That along with the headlight (which appears damaged from the pics) and a few other things I can see. Depends on the adjuster he ends up with.

thanks guys, and no the clutch isnt broken, just too short of a distance and too many obsticals for it to make a difference.

lol, that may be coming sooner than later, but i decided i need a truck first, so im looking for a cheap, decent, 4x4 truck for a daily, and ive basically decided that im buying the honda fury ive wanted, im 70% less likely to kill myself on that.
