You may have read about this already, but here's a sad story from Jalopnik about a dump truck driver running over and killing a number of riders who were stopped at a stoplight.

I'm posting this as a reminder to keep your eyes open since you're always in danger on a bike, even when you're just stopped at a light. It's early in the season and cage drivers are as dumb as ever, so be careful out there!

this happened in arizona not too far from where i used to live.

Heard about this on the radio the other day, Terrible story. Those who did survive are very lucky.

all I can say is hopefully everyone can learn from this and think twice about rushing to get infront a truck at a stoplight.

this is why they need to allow lane splitting @ stoplights. its done all over the world except for here. in fact, in some places its against the law not to.

you can sit at in the middle of the lines....ie directly in between two lanes

You can also pass between cars provided you're not going 10mph faster than said cars.

as both a truck driver and motorcycle rider, people are just IDIOTS when there driving!

sounds dangerous.
