Because a FWD V8 doesnt make any sense esp. for a GM. Between the tq and the crappy power distribution it makes no sense to b a v8.

More power?
hsssss

Its a good mix of power and style for the everyday driver...Thats ben the Monte Carlos point for years (SS/ Z34)it was never designed to melt the tires..i like it for a DD

Good looking car. Now that I own a RWD V8 I don't think I will ever buy another FWD car again.

is it just me, or is anyone else sick of these manufacturers building V8 sports cars around fuel mileage? I mean WTF! if im worried about fuel mileage i'll buy a figgen prius! im buying a V8 to beat the bawls off and not give two shits! instead of making this car a 18city/28highway 14.5 second ride. lets make it a 8city/18highway 13.5 second car!

Look who owns GM. The government has put so many stipulations in place around building cars. I couldn't agree more though. I think it also has to do with the fact that people want sports cars, but also want something that is good on fuel. One of the biggest reason I bought superchips, I never in 100 years thought it would wake up the G8 like it has.
