just a little heads up the police were sitting on lower thames today pointing aside every bike with after market exhaust. i know its going to rain tomorrow but they may be out next weekend too. they just gave me and my buddy a warning.

I'm detecting sarcasm in your post. I was just surprised that the police departments are that worried about noise from bikes. Sure, some are loud, but not all aftermarket pipes are loud. In fact, a lot of the true track-oriented exhausts for sportbikes have to be below 95dB due to a lot of tracks having noise limits of 95dB or less.

i get pulled over almost every friday night for my car exhuast, and i dont even get on it. on that note, don't drive in Smithfield if your car or bike is loud, you'll be getting a ticket.
