I was thinking about flat blacking the rear part of the camaro, underneath the tailights?? i'm either getting the smoked covers for the rear lights or upgrading to the newer lights..

bonnEVIL
yes. ive seenit done on red cars and im sure itd look just as good on here as it did on there.
LS6rally
Yes, as a matter of fact, mike has this done on his car. it looks good.

I'm looking for the kit to make the letters in white for the word camaro

You can always do it like this and peel it off if you hate it....

i dont know.... on a white car... those two colors are not complimentary (maybe wrong term?)

i would say post up more pics of the car, and see if some one can Photoshop it.

perfect tool for a bank job.

i would suggest trying this first before going with the paint

p.s. nice plate!
Orinackra
I say do it.
I was looking through this thread:
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/paint-body-w...mi-gloss-4.html

and no white cars with flat black, I did like the flat black better than the gloss on just about all the cars.

Now that I've seen what it looks like. I'm not a fan. It works on the '69 SS but i don't think it flows right on a 4th gen.

Nah.

Usually I hate tinted tails but, I'm loving this.

With the light color I don't think the wifeys car could pull it off without the tinted tails.
PSquare75
I would just fill in the letters with the color of your choice.

What about a color match on the letters?
J Kellz

berger panel will be black. white letters would like fine. or chrome.

I'd go with a gloss black personally. I think the flat would look really flat on a white car.. almost like a slate black-board.

Exactly what I was getting at. But I personally would prefer color match over chrome.
PSquare75
Oh... I meant, no black at all on the panel, and just do black letters on a white panel. I 'get' the Berger panel, just... meh. IMO

Exactly the look I was going for...I'm gonna try. Worse that can happen is repaint it white...
