I always wondered about that, But you'd need something the size of a aircraft Carrier to get 2 of everything and food to feed them as some point out...this ship is not that big

right, so someone found a boat that happens to be period correct, and it automatically has to be the mythological ark? RIGHT. Because I'm sure that in the case of the great flood, Noah was the only person on the earth with a boat.
my opinion = FAKE.

ALTHOUGH... before any of you bible bangers start jumping on me with your pro god talk, I would like to mention that I do believe in parts of the bible. For instance, I do believe that there may have been a guy named Noah, who saw a giant flood and said "Oh shit, theres a great flood, lets get a bunch of animals aboard my boat!" Doesnt mean that god told him to build an ark, but the story may have some historical truth.
bonnEVIL
turkey wont even let anyone get to the place where you can see it from space.

i think its caleld mount arnak or something liek that. its forbidden for anyone to go there.

The ark story is fascinating in a lot of ways though. Just considering the number of flood myths in the world, including ancient western traditions which are far removed from the middle east and would have never come into contact with them. Scripturally speaking the ark was a pretty massive structure. Where anyone would find that much wood, I have no idea. The other interesting spec of information on it comes from the historian Josephus from the 1st century AD. He actually spoke about the ark being up on mt. ararat and how people from the region during his time had a tendency to go up the mountain and snag wood from it. If there is anything left of it.. there wouldn't be much.

This was found on the wall of the wooden ship...... koolaid.gif

It's already been proven that there was never a global flood ever. However, a flood can occur independently anywhere in the world.

Could a guy have shuffled a bunch of local animals onto a ship when a local sea or river flooded? Sure. But there is no way to get two of every animal could be put on any ship.

Plus, from taking genetics....There is no way to populate a species from two animals. You need dozens or even hundred to get enough genetic variation for a species to survive.

i say its fake, like titties on strippers

This isn't really new info. That portion of Mount Ararat was in Armenia until Turkey decided to take it. The Armenian coat of arms has a picture of the Ark resting atop of Mount Ararat.

I'm glad you put those videos up. But..Let's just say for a moment that what these individuals found is a boat on top of a mountain and it is as old as they say it is. What does that prove? It proves that there is a boat on a mountain. Nothing more, nothing less. Whatever significance is placed upon it is up to the individual. Anything can be rationalized away if we really put our heads to it. There could be any number of explanations or reasons why a big-ass boat is on top of a mountain, none of which would prove a global flood or a man named Noah. Perhaps it was built up there by people who had heard the story of noah. Perhaps it was a shrine to some god of some sort. The explanations are as numerous as the mind will allow. Some people need proof, or rather, they believe they need proof. Any form of proof though, can be explained away. Any type of event that occurs in the world would fall under the category of natural phenomena, regardless of external supernatural influence. If God came to you face to face and said.. Hi, I'm God. What would your natural reaction be? It would be, ok I'm crazy let me try and figure out what just happened. If you told someone what happened, they'd tell you the same thing. So what we try to do is place God into the realm of natural explanation. When we do this, we are no longer looking at "God" but merely a natural event or body within time/space/matter/energy/etc. God ceases to be God when we try to examine such a concept through natural means for proof. A boat on a mountain no-more proves a world wide flood than it proves that someone build a boat on a mountain. Does this negate the possibility of a supernatural or divine being? No, it simple means we have to look past the natural to understand that some things are irrational. And that things are irrational, doesn't necessarily make them bad or wrong. It just means that we can know the what, when, where, and how... but we will never really know the WHY or if there is a WHO unless we can look beyond the ordinary. I always think back to the movie Pulp Fiction. Sam Jackson and John Travolta get shot at, miraculously the bullets all miss. Travolta's character says, we got lucky and there is a natural explanation. Jackson's character says.. the big guy spared me today, it was a miracle. Roughly speaking. How one perceives events that occur in the world doesn't change the fact that those things happen in the world. Whether or not a divine being had any involvement in such an action is up to the individual to determine. Hence the reason it is called faith. Some look at the world and say that everything is capable of being explained and there is no mystery. Others say, there is an explanation, but it's just too extraordinary to say it was all luck or chance. There had to be a WHY and WHO behind it.

Anyways, thats too much rambling for 12:00Am when I have class at 7am haha.
