Looks good, I actually like flat black/matte black. I believe either dupont or PPG just came out with a paint called Eggshell that has that effect, its cool looking of some cars but not all.

Well, I'm "happier" I mean, its been in primer for 2 years, and lets face it, it'll probably be in primer for another 2 years if I start diggin into the engine. So at least it looks respectable. And the thing only gets driven like once a month anyways when its sunny and above freezing but under 90 lol so I'm not worrying about its longevity against the elements.

Are you serious? You dont go and cut your friggen springs to lower your car. You buy new springs. Tell me you didnt cut your springs in your car junior? The only thing worse then cutting your springs is heating them up with a torch to lower your car.

If your set on doing the stripes. I'd do it in gloss black. The red would be too "ohh look at me I'm an attn whore" IMO

cutting springs isnt that bad but you have to do it right. we cut springs in drag cars before. just gotta take your time and file or grind down the bottoms so they sit right.
