so i had the day off today and nothing to do, so i decided on a paint scheme for the triumph and got to it. so far ive only done the belly pan, but i like it, and heres the pics.

its still in finished, i have to touch up the pin stripe, wet sand the whole thing with a 2000 grit, then shoot the clear coat, but so far so good. The triumph logos will be that deep red color also.

I laid the base coat on the tail fairing and main fairing today after work, heres a few shots.

Is this in a can or spray gun. Wouldnt recommend spraying clear out of a can!

paintscratch.com is supposed to have a really good clear. A guy on NASIOC repainted his hood and he used Rustoleum Painter's Touch Gloss Crystal Clear and he said it looked really nice but he said its getting beat from the elements.

heres the thread if your interested

The rattle can mothod may work for a little while and the oaint may look nice and shinny but like mentioned above, the elements are going to break the clear down real fast. Just a heads up Brandon. Obviously it wont be as bad as someone painting their hood since I know you wont be riding in the rain and shit but the sun can be just as harmful.
