It was still a very good short film.

Micheal jai white (dark knight, spawn) is an awesome casting decision

And jeri ryan is a hottie who can play tough. (Enterprise, boston legal)

Maybe if they can get say RAIN (ninja assain) to play lui kang would be a good choice.

The first mortal kombat was good the second was a normal sequeal stink up but not beyond saving with something with the direction of this short film.
