As it stands right now.. unless something major comes up I'm leaving in 3 weeks to move to Florida. I'm hoping to be able to get together with and say goodbye to as many of you as possible!!

I would like to get something together either on a Wednesday meet night.. or maybe a Saturday night!

yes im terrified. for many reasons. this is a huge move and pretty life changing. I don't anticipate on coming back, at least until the least is up next june. after MUCH (tooooo much) time and thought went into it, i feel that i need to take the opportunity while it is there and I'm still young. I can always come back to my mom at any time.

I'll def miss you guys, but I will be home to visit & you always have a place to stay down in fl!!!

I ask because I have a couple friends begging me to move to FL, but I haven't been able to find much in the way of work. Not to mention I'm not sure I'm too keen on FL anyway, but that's another story. It's still better than Ohio.

Good luck. Some people love it, some hate it. If you plan on coming back at some point make sure to save, save, save. I have a few friends who moved down and are wishing they'd saved better to come back. Money is a lil different down there, you'll see what I mean. Best of luck.

there are tons of jobs on craigslist.. and you can set up interviews over the phone or contact them so ur interviews are immediate when you get there. your smartest option is to find a company here that you can work for and transfer locations to florida. i do have a job lined up, hopefully two actually and im going down with quite a bit of money saved up, from my car accident i decided not to replace my baby since i didnt have enough money im getting something a little cheaper and taking the remainder of the money with me.

Destin is nice. Spent a week down in Ft. Walton beach a few years back. Beautiful beaches. Got the tshirt from the Hooters there, so it can't be all that bad, can it?

Oh, and enjoy the possibility of fighter planes flying by as you're within an hour of three Air Force Bases.

Yup he's down there. Then I think his username was mean machine or something like that with the SVTC. And there was another member with a black fbody and a yamaha r6. Works or worked at a ferrari dealer.

His name is Justin. We have no member anywhere close to where shes going though.

Good luck and have fun! i always wanted to move down there, i actually like the humidity and you can buy a foreclosed house for cheap cheap money.
but i have known alot of people that went there. a good portion actually stayed down there. the others come back and what not. but its a good experience! best of wishes to ya!

i think im trapped in ri for now. things have changed and it doesnt make sense to move. i think im taking the safe option for now.. maybe not as happy but so many unknowns and like i said alot has come up within the past week to change my opinion. i really wish i could. but it doesnt make sense right now. based on roommate. cost. job and school 3x's the price and no idea where id be living in 10 mos. more to it. but thats the short story. most likely staying. ugh
