Hello rekless, seems like it has been a year since i have been on here, although i do try to check the home page each month to see ROTM and BOTM. Been busy with both work and school, but its nice to finally have get a moment to give a little update:

the car, is seeing improvements each week, and as i get closer and closer to graduating, a new project is in sight. here are some updated pics, i am hoping to get more active on here once again.

elevate is garbage, back when they were evolve the screwed so many people over, so they figured they would switch names and start fresh. i have yet to see a decent product come out from them. I even got to test a DP someone purchased from them, and all the welds were terrible, and it even had cracks.

viva is good, george the owner is a good guy, ive met him a couple times. have nothing but good things to say about his company, other than the prices are higher than you can get from tasca for OEM parts.

Both companies really only cater to P2 volvos... 2001 and up. and im guessing since you have an s60R you are on Sweedespeed. had any troubles with the 04? have you taken care of the "list"

Really? Tasca uses Elevate parts for all the s60's they do. I have noticed that their products and descriptions are word for word identical to IPD, but prices were high so i found that interesting. I found a deal on an AMS from them though, 150 bucks with filter and already modded for the R-kelly ram air duct.

That sucks to hear, because I love the sound of their exhaust even if it is 950. I just picked up the R about 2 weeks ago and love it so far, no issues that I can tell. The service records were impressive, all the way up to the 60k service and it's currently got like 67xxx on it. As for the list, i'm not sure exactly what you're referring to. I'm definitely looking into poly bushings for engine, engine bar, trans mount etc., as well as the TCV and CBV and hopefully grabbing Phuz's FMIC kit. Just waiting for a paycheck to grab a few goodies.

Personally i am not going to bother given them a chance, they burned way to many bridges in my book, and i know to many people that have been screwed over by there spotty work. As for exhaust, build your own, you'll be much more satisfied with the out come smile.gif.

As for the 04Rs make sure the angle gear and such have been replaced, as well as all the electrical recalls, with it being the first year of the R there were some kinks that they had to work out, if they're been taken care of you don't really have anything to worry about, and its one hell of a solid platform.

agree there...my pegs are a BITCH to keep clean.

That stage 3 should def. wake her up. I also woke up myself in realizing I'm better to get a custom exh. made, so this next paycheck is going toward just that, 3" DP to high flow cat to 3" catback, might get an elevate tip or just pick something off the shelf, maybe even reuse the stock tips. Dunno yet.

If the weather stays nice and I get some free time we should definitely put together a photoshoot.
