Ok, Since im moving I have less money to work with than i thought. I have roughly 3k i was looking at things a tiny bit more expensive to maybe talk them down. i think ive checked every craigslist from here to alaska. yeah yeah koolaid. im open to civic nissan pretty much broadened my horizons even though ive become a new car, somewhat mod whore. i gotta give it up. oh the sacrifices for the opportunity, id even be open to an suvish type, but they are more expensive. i need low-ish miles and something dependable.. i need to drive it to fl lol and cant be dumpin $$ into it. idc if its manual or auto.. orefer auto greatly since the tranny just went in the altima. fml

if you guys could help me, id appreciate it soo muchh. dont go out of your way just if you know someone or see something.. let me know. but please look out for me. i gotta be careful what i buy here. thanks <3

You might be better off buying down there.
*Shamr0ckissd*
how are me and my things going to get there? plus id like my trusted mechanic to look at it, also i have a tax voucher from progressive where i dont pay tax on a new car due to mine being totaled which i believe only works in ri

Uship.com

accept the lowest bidder for your stuff packed from RI to FL.

I just have images of buying something, getting stranded in NC in bubbville, with a car loaded with your stuff.. having to give away your possessions to get the car fixed, then getting sucked into the sex slave trade down south shaking it in a cage for a guy named Bubba with 2 teeth to pay for room and board while your vehicle is down for repairs.

do you plan to rent a uhaul trailer or cram it all in a single car load. if you plan to fit it all in, i wouldn't suggest anything smaller than a sedan, otherwise keep an eye out for a car with a hitch.
*Shamr0ckissd*
its soo much to type.. late for class i planned on the uhaul.. ill explain later why not and thats pretty much exactly what i was thinking drew i have them saved on my computer.. what i found i have to call on, hard to go look at them with no car myself. hahah geez this is tooo much work eff it

Trying to help smile.gif Uship.com would be cheaper than Uhaul if you go that route.
*Shamr0ckissd*
no actually then id have to buy a car there and dunno how long it would take and no trusted mechanic to look at it.. and im bringing minimal things for now and id have less money to buy the car if i did the upack uhaul w/e
MARK
most mechanics are trusted. thats why theyre in business...
JonT
you check cars.com? theres a nice green vw beetle! and a two tone convertible camry.... yea.... at least they are 3k and can probably talk them down.

or even eBay. my cousin bought all of his cars from there.

what an ignorant statement lol there are PLENTY of mechanics that will take any chance they get to rip you off.

And not just shadetree mechanics, major dealers too. Balise being one of them, but there are plenty of places that are more than happy to take your money and either perform an unnecessary job because you didnt know better or perform a shotty job with shotty parts and not think twice.

Speaking from experience.(working there and being a customer)

Keep an eye out on craigslist. I got my SC2 for $1800 when they usually sell for $3-$5k. It has a huge trunk and the 3rd door makes backseat access easy for stuff, plus it's still a "sporty" coupe. 37mpg doesn't hurt either. wink.gif
Nrw
you already know my opinion on this matter homeslice wink.gif

Edit- miss read that sentence. well never mind then. good luck finding a dependable vehicle for cheap..... U stated u have exhausted craigslist, try auto trader and ebay if u haven't looked there already

I drove it and I'll vouch for it. Seats are HIGH in it, like, I hit my head on the roof high... For someone so short, it'd be perfect wink.gif.
BoostedDakota
maybe nelson wants the dakota in trade? i miss my beretta soooooo much
Stangman_NB
hows it run Glenn? I do want a truck, thats why I am selling it
BoostedDakota
its a great truck. im undecided what to do with it right now. i always need a truck but this one is useless to me because i cant tow with it so i dunno if i want to keep it or let it go. ill think about it
94Thunderbirdpunk
Look for a Crown Vic/Grand Marquis. Lots of cargo room, won't catch the cops attention, RWD, V8, cheap to insure, and usually not expensive to buy. Mileage won't be spectacular (18-22mpg).
