I'm keeping the 17s (yes after all those posts about wheels). Turns out my issue wasn't the wheels, but STANCE. Anyway. I'm thinking of these on my car. On some cars they work, some they don't. I think they'd work on my Cougar.

Thoughts?

Lowrider magazine always differentiates between the two dunno.gif Knock offs are the real ones that you need the special tool to remove. Anyway, I didn't expect such positive responses. Settles that smile.gif.

Troof. Let's differentiate this:

Spinner caps: Centercaps with blades on them that simulate a 'knock off' wheel.

Knock Off: actual spinner cap that is threaded onto a single adapter which is fastened to the 5 standard studs of a vehicle.

I like.

I don't think it's the car so much as the wheel itself. Personally I like knock-offs to be a different color than the wheel, since chrome on chrome doesn't have much contrast. And they're really just a show piece anyway, so make sure they stand out a little.
