I had a blast. There's some entertaining youtube footage online of some of the spectator drags. The one where the guy opens his hood and finds a fire is on there as well as the STI catching some air going over the inner track lip. Hoping someone puts up the race against me and Mark Dinardo. Him and I rubbed in turn 2 and he pulled away and pulled off a huge drift through the whole way through 3 and 4 and held on. I saw it happen right in front of me, though I was waiting for him to lose control and spin out. Unfortunately he never did.

4th place sucks. You miss the final two races when you get 4th and no trophy wah

Yeah right lol. Worst case scenario is I buy that and still get 4th place. I have a car capable of winning. It's very difficult to repeat though. I may have been able to beat Mark Dinardo if I kept driving hard to the inside when he was drifting, but I would have risked crashing into him. I'm right where I want to be. I'm happy winning a few events once in a while and making the other guys know they need to drive their ass off to beat me.

But yeah, I def don't want to toss money at my car and not have it improve anything. That's one of the things I've been thinking about as of late.

For instance, Art Glassman and Mark's 3rd gen car has a short torque arm. That's great for the launch but around the turns I think it's hurting the stability. Obviously it was good enough for Mark to get 2nd place twice this year in it, but he's an awesome driver at that track. I think he may even be better off with the long arm in there. Doesn't matter anyway though... that car is completely different and a mutated animal compared to a stock z28. With all the changes to the car, it would be impossible to go back to a long torque arm.

I didn't bring my camera unfortunately, but you still ran very well. I though Dinardo was gonna lose it.

Thanks. I was very happy with the way I was launching last week, and I rarely am happy with that. I was able to beat an STI off the launch in round 1 and also keep up with Mark Dinardo neck and neck through the launch. I'm disappointed I wasn't able to beat him from the inside lane though.
