Cobra still wins hands down in my eyes. Plus its cheaper to start off with. The 33 is still nice though

Taking on a project like that cant be too hard. There are so many online resources to fall back on for info that all you need is common sense, tools and some money. If I had the money, I would buy the cobra kit and swap all my drivetrain into it. The stuff I cant use I could sell to help fund the parts I do need. But like I said, I need $15K to start with.

yeah, i didnt mean it would be too hard.
id just rather buy a complete car. and build it my way than some kit.

Believe it or not but those kits have a wide range of custom one off things you can do to them to make them different from the next guys kit. YA the basic idea is all the same but so is all of our projects. Those cobra and coupe kits are setup for Ford drivetrains but there are plenty of guys running SBC engines in them.
See, now you got me going on this and I want one. Id like to see what a 2,000lb kit car would do with my engine in it. proberbly put me in the hospital

i know, its still not that bad. you would never be able to take a rusted out stang and restore it for that much. assuming you completely went through it. hell i had 15k wrapped up in my mach 1 and it wasnt close to being done.
