Steel wool that shit.... double or single ot is fine. then hit it up with either neverdull or Mother Aluminum/metal polish.



as for the paint, sand it all the way don to nothing and start over. I know it sounds like Im being lazy, but stick to two colors in the entire engine bay! it'll look much cleaner and more thought out.....plus its half the work because you dont have to tape then retape then tape again!









due to Neil's post I need to state that anyone coming to my house on saterday better be willing to work on their own cars or pay sarah to clean shit. 3) Nothing in my engine bay is being painted any other way than I have it now. I might touch up a spot or two that was scratched but thats if I have the paint. If I don't no big deal to me. The only thing I'm not happy with in my engine bay, color wise, is the couplers but they don't bother me that much so they will stay blue. Everything else is going to stay the green/black look with the gold writing on the plug cover. I've seen the plug covers with everything the same color and I dont like they way they came out so I'll keep the letters a different color to make them pop. If you think its too busy thats great. I'll like the way it looks and have recieved compliments from others on it and I'm happy with it as is. Rember I'm not pretending my car is a show car because it is far from it. All it is and ever will be, as long as I own it.

so far i chopped my shifter and put on a new knob. MADE custom floor mats. touched up the interior paint and cleared the pannels. tomorrow i'm gonna wet sand and buff my head lights and possibly tint my tails. it's turning out realy nice so far. saturday i need to wet sand buff and polish EVERYTHING and touch up my engine bay a little. also i want to get the top of my dash painted by saturday. and the list goes on lol.
