I'm starting to give up on finding decently cheap, used, and non-ghetto-ugly 17" wheels for my winter tires.

I found these new, $380 shipped to my door. But will bronze clash with my orange too much?

Walkingchaos
Yes. I think the colors are just not going to work sad.gif You could repaint them gunmetal if you wanted ?

They are just winter wheels...I wouldn't want to put anything more into them. lol

There are also these that are $20 cheaper:

or:

Both of those are gloss black.

No bronze, but you link me to Ghetto Fabulous, USA? wink.gif

get steelies.

I think that 5 spoke black is perfect. Cheap. sharp, simple winter wheel. Good call.

These are winter wheels.. Who cares if they are "ghetto fab"? Rattle can em flat black. $400 seems pricey for wheels to get destroyed in salt.

They don't make 17" steelies in my bolt pattern. I've checked.

I have low standards for wheels, but I just can't put butt-fugly wheels on. I just want something plain, not bling-special. I think the final price of those 5 spoke wheels are around $340 shipped to my door.

5 spoke ftw!

Or if you find something cheaper, just plastidip them. Just wipe the rims down prior to spraying them, lay thick coats on. And when they get knicked just spray some more on top and it will blend right in. The best part is, in the Spring if you wanna sell them, the plastidip just peels right off.

16s don't fit?

Yes they do but I already own a set of 17" snow tires.

I found a set of OEM wheels on eBay that I'm going to try to them. If I can't get those, I'll probably get a set of the gloss black ones.
bonnEVIL
i think the bronze might look cool. seen any photos of them with your color?
MARK
5 spoke, no joke.

I'm a little late to this but I think the bronze would like fine with orange, it's a little different without being obnoxious. I'd do it anyway.

Too bad you can't get steelies, aluminum rims doen't like the salt much and will leak eventually. Have you asked the Mini dealer if they have anything?

I'm waiting on a used set of OEM wheels from a guy near Boston. $250.

Those would look good, but if you don't get those, I'd go with the gloss black 5 stars.
