If you haven't noticed, there are tombstones everywhere in a thread you perhaps you were just reading. Everyone is dead . Except for me and few other who were test driving this mod. I introduce the Battle system, or ibProBattle or Battle! in the drop down menu. Of course you have questions...... so here's a quick FAQ, some numbers may be different but basically the same.

Q: What is ibProBattle?
A: The ibProBattle is a system where people can attack each other with different types of weapons. As soon as your EXP gets to 100% you will level up and your HP and Strength will increase.

Q: How can I view my status in ibProBattle?
A: Go to your profile and click on the ibProBattle Tab

Q: What are those things in my status?
A: Okay, first under the Attack Stats. It displays your Current HP, Str, and Exp. It also displays your level, number of frags gained (PK) and gold.

Under the Guild row: It displays the name of your guild, you guild’s insignia (picture) , your rank in the guild, and you Custom Member Title (CMT)

The Attack Logs. Basically it shows the PK activity on your account. Date shows when the battle occurred. Atk column displays the name of the attacker. Def column displays the name of the one being attacked. HP and STR column shows the decrease in the amount of HP and STR of the players during the battle. Expire column shows the time when the attacker can attack that player again. Finally, the Comments column displays the number of Frags stolen and the gold taken from the dead player

Q: How do I participate/attack?
A: Go to MyControls. Then on the left side panel, search for the “Atk Shop” . Click on “Targets” then browse through the pages and search for you ideal target. Then click on attack to engage the player.

Q: Can I turn off ibProBattle? Can they attack me when I’m offline?
A: As far as I know, No you can’t turn it off and every player is vulnerable to attacks (offline/online).

Q: How can I purchase weapons?
A: They’re not for sale. new weapons appear at levels 3, 6, 10, 14, 17, 20 , 24, 29, 35, 41, 45, 51, 57, 62, 70

Q: How can I choose my weapon?
A: After you have selected a target (clicking on the “Attack user” link), the system will prompt you which weapon you will use.

Q: I’m already level 3 but I can’t see my new weapon
A: You don’t have enough STR to wield the weapon. For the level 3 weapon (Blade), you need to have at least 5 STR remaining in order for it to materialize on your Combat Menu

Q: I’m already level 10 but why can’t I defend successfully?
A: You may be lacking STR when you logout/idle. In order to have a chance to defend successfully you must allot a certain amount of STR. For example, you want to defend with your Crescent Fury (level 10 weapon), you should at least save 16-29 STR, in that way you will have a CHANCE on defending with that weapon. The system may pick a Chuking (level 6) or Blade (level 3) to defend and if you are unlucky… a stick =)


Q: How can I view the required status on every weapon?
A: Go to MyControls > Atk Shop > View Weapons

Q: How can I purchase HP and STR potions?
A: Go to MyControls > Atk Shop > Shop

Q: How can I use the potions that I purchased?
A: Go to MyControls > Atk Shop and look for the My Invertory on the left side of the page. Then select on what potion to use then click Use. You also have an option to transfer a particular item.

Q: How can I donate Gold?
A: Go to MyControls > Atk Shop > Donate Gold


Q: What are frags? What are they for?
A: Frags are objects you received when killing another player. Frags increases the chance of receiving high bonus stats when you level up.

Q: All of my Frags were gone, where did they go?
A: Probably, you got yourself killed by another player. Remember, all the Frags you collected from a certain period will be stolen by another player if they killed you.

Q: I have lots of Frags why did I received 1 HP and 1 STR when I level up?
A: There are many factors to be considered for the bonus stats. Deaths and Missed attacks are also one of them.

Q: Is it possible to have deductions on your exp?
A: Yes, if you missed your target you will have -1 to -5 exp(or more). If you successfully attacked a player but he lands a more powerful attack, you will lose exp depending on what weapon he used (e.g. A player counterattacked your lvl 20 weapon with a lvl 24 weapon, you may lose 40 exp)

Q: How can I gain gold?
A: There are several ways to earn gold.
- If you have less than 1000 gold, you will gain 20 gold everyday given that you have at least 30 posts.
- Posting and starting a topic also earns you 10 gold.
- Killing another player earns you 100 gold given that he/she has 100 gold at her/his disposal
- During battle, you can steal 5-20 gold

Q: How many attacks can I make? Will the recovery time also decrease as I level up?
A. Level 1 = 4 turns / 180 minutes recovery time
Level 5 = 5 turns /
Level 10 = 6 turns / 170 minutes recovery time
And so forth…

Q: How many STR and HP can I gain every level?
A: HP = 1- 10 STR = 1- 8

Q: The expiration time on the player was already lifted, why can’t I still attacked him/her?
A. You can only attack the same player 4x a day (24 hours)

Q: When do I regenerate / resurrect?
A: There are several instances on when you will start to regen/resu. It is based on the attacked logs you made. I don’t know how to explain it so I’ll just give you some instances.
Note: All instances must be reflected on your Attack Logs

Case 1:
Player 1 attacks Player 2 at 8:00pm and will expire at 11:00pm
Player 3 killed Player 2 at 9:00pm and will expire at 12:00pm

In this case, Player 2 will resurrect/regen at 11:00pm

Case 2:
Player 2 killed Player 1 at 10:00pm and attack will expire at 1:00am (No attack logs were produced during this battle)

In this case, Player 1 will resurrect/regen at 1:00am

Case 3:
Player 3 attacks Player 1 at 11:00pm and attack will expire at 2:00am
Player 2 killed Player 3 at 1:30am and attack will expire at 4:30am

In this case, Player 3 will resurrect at 2:00am

Q: Is Frag and PK the same?
A: No, The PK Count in the ibProBattle (Profile -> ibProBattle Tab) refers to the number of Frags you gained. I think it was just a typo. It should be Frags.If you want to see the number of Player Kills, Go to MyControls > Atk Shop > Shop Stats. On the left side portion of the page just below your inventory, there's a column for Quick Stats. Look for the Kills portion and you will see the number players you already killed.

Q: What factor will decide the battle?
A: The one who inflicted more damage( -HP ) wins the battle

Q: Can i kill myself?
A: Yes you can. Attacking someone while having your HP on critical state will make it a suicide. Please take note that you will lose frags and exp if you commit a suicide whether it is unintentional or not.

General

The battlemod is a mod where people can attack eachother with different types of weapons.
As soon as your EXP gets to 100% you will level up and your HP and Strength both will increased with a number between 1-10.
It is possible for a level 2 member to have the same stats as a level 3 member. You can attack everyone that is alive on the forum unless they have decided to quit the battle system.

You can attack 4 times + 1 more per every 10 levels.Both the number of attacks and the increase per level gain can be set by the admins in the ACP battle settings.

Your waiting time is 3 hours after your attack. This will be reduced with 15 minutes every 5 levels.



Now for the specific parts of this mod:

Attacking

You can attack an user by pressing the Attack Link in their profile.
As soon as you attack you will be able to pick a weapon(different strength usage) and attack him with it. Your attack can do 3 things:

1: Miss your opponent - If you miss, your attack you will do 0 damage and gain little EXP.
He will retaliate with a random attack that could harm or kill you.
2: Reduce your opponents HP - Depending on the weapon you have used you take away an X amount of your opponents HP.
However since your opponent is not dead yet he can retaliate with a random attack that could harm or kill you.
3: Kill your opponent - If you kill your opponent you will gain at least 1 frag. Depending on your opponent you can steal frags from him.
I think this is done by the previous attacks your opponent has done(how many kills on a row he has made)*. I am not sure about this though.

*example: if I kill 3 people and Punker kills me then he will gain 1 Frag + steal my 3 frags(the 3 in a row I made)

The higher in level you get the more weapons you can use.

Items

HP/Strength potion: Restores part of your HP or Strength.
There are several levels of potions that restore different amounts of HP or Strength. Does not work when you are dead.
Life potion: Restores part of your HP and Strength.
There are several levels of potions that restore different amounts of HP and Strength. Does not work when you are dead.
Phoenix Down: Revives an user when he is dead with X HP/X Strength(depends on what phoenix down u use).
Can ONLY be used on ANOTHER MEMBER through the sidebar(or in his profile) when you are ALIVE. It wont work in any other combination.

Weapons

There are different types of weapons. When your Strength goes up to an X amount you can see more weapons that you can use.

I will explain 1 type of weapon(the same goes for all other weapons):

The Holy Hand Grenade has a minimum Strength usage of 15. As soon as you have 15 Strength you are able to see and use this weapon.
The Maximum Strength Used shows how much strength this weapon can use.
If you are a higher level player and your strength stats are 14/75 you will NOT see this item.
You have to regain your strength with a potion in order to see the more powerful weapons.

Gil

Gil is the same as our Gold. You can gain Gil in several different ways:

1. For each post/thread you make or you can get an X amount of gil.
2. Through the Guilds(as set by the GM).
3. If you kill your opponent, you will gain a random amount of gil from you opponent.
4. If you win the battle but do not kill your opponent, then you can steal an x amount of gil from the loser.

With this Gil you can purchase potions to restore yourself. If you have saved up enough Gil you can buy a Guildhouse (will be explained later).

Atkshop

In the Atkshop you can buy your potions and see your inventory.
You can also donate Gil to another member. If you want to transfer an item you can also do it in the Atkshop.
Furthermore you can see the Richest Users and your own stats.

Guild

As soon as you gain enough Gil you can purchase a Guildhouse.
In the Guild you see several links. If you have not joined a Guild yet you have limited options.
You can see all the guilds out there and try to join them. Once you have joined them you can go in the Guildhouse or Resign from your Guild.

In the GuildHouse you can see several links. I will not explain these links, because there explained already in the subtext.
As a GM you can let members join, kick existing members, change the name of the guild, assign lieutenants and manage the gil that your Guild has.
You can set an X amount of gil that members can withdraw each 24 hours.

ok, im tryin this out and im confused....

how do you see who attacked you and when your dead how do you come back to life

goto your own profile, click on the battle tab, scroll down to see who attacked you and look at the expiration time.

Or, join a guild, and find someone to revive you inside that guild or just find a person to revive you.

eh well. there was nobody to attack and im still feeling out the game

go for the weaker guys to get up in level. Just pick people from the members list.

Also, ALWAYS use elixirs after attacking to get you back to full strength. At full strength, 1 you can use the best weapons, and 2 you can defend better cause you're at full HP.
