So my dad got his console/shifter in that he grabbed from a 76 300 a few weeks ago. Leave it to Mopar to WELD the shifters to the floor. If you look close you can see where he decided to put the tach.

Nope. there simply was no tach option for these cars. Police cars got a higher speed speedometer and an oil pressure gauge. That was teh best spot we could come up with. He hates column tachs, pillar gauges, and tachs on the dash, so....

It's got a shiny aluminum piece... and the knob does have wood
That is the console, with a different insert. I wonder if I can come up with a wood piece.

Then it wouldn't match!
The 'yard near my house has two other cars with consoles.. I'm heading there this weekend, maybe there's a wood plate.

The other car at the junkyard had "half" a console, it was missing the insert. There was one more 300 there, but it had split bench.

This is it when he got the car.
He has 94 Dodge Ram rims on it now... looks like a police car.
I tried the Cragar's from my Cougar on it..
He didnt want to use them

It's basically a 2 door gran fury, that they used as police cars for 10 years in the 80s.
