This is the third time this has happened to me this summer/fall. What the hell is up with people doing the damn fly by? Yesterday I was cruising the local four lanes, no traffic anywhere and this lifted dodge ram with a flowmaster set up is a few lengths behind me cruising. Out of nowhere he nails the throttle and before I'm even able to remotely react due to my tunes being cranked he's flying past me then he tosses the flashers and pulls into the walmart a few miles down the road. Hell by time i even got a shot at hitting the throttle he was past me!! I want to see what my car is capable of in pretty much stock fashion but for crying out loud it seems like everyone just wants to fly by real quick and call it quits instead of lining it up first and letting me know they want to run.

Do any of you encounter these idiots? Hell I punched the gas for three seconds and said fuck it because I knew the minute i'd start reeling him in due to his big ass mudder tires he'd just hit the brakes.

happened to me last night on 95. i was coming home form the dragway with my dial-in and my car number on my windows. and a purple civic came flying by me pulled in front of me and slowed. i got up next to him to try and give him a go. and he just kept slowing down. about 3 miles up he flies by me again and then gets off the highway. damn ricers

I was just driving my stock 97 Bird, 4.6 V8. It's definately not a street monster being a sad 205 engine horsepower, but still haha. Just pissed that every time someone "races" me it's a flyby and thats all they are willing to give.

still not really slow, they are good for low 15's high 14's
