so yesterday, Wednesday, i spent most of my day making sure everything was set w the saab for the winter. i got it running decently, drove it around, and decided i was going to take it to work this morning. well this morning i go outside to start it, cranks over real slow, dies, and ticks. so i took the stang. i know the car hasnt really been run much the last 8 months so i figgure the battery is a little low on juice and the cold weather helped it not start, cuz i mean it ran fine the day before. so i come home from work and go to try and start it, same thing happens. i tried jumping it from a fresh battery (2 batts should do the trick) nothing, had to hook the mustang into the mix to start it. so i decide to find out whats up. pull the battery put it on the charger, it almost dead, strange for a battery that was fine less than 24 hours ago. start pulling a few other things, pull the spark plugs, brand new plugs, covered in carbon and fuel, and i mean covered. ok wtf!! well basically to make a long story short, the fucking engineers at gm / saab decided that in order to remove any piece of this car you need to be a contortionist and have a doctorate in mechanical engineering. i decided to pull the alternator so i could have it tested tomorrow, yupp, 4 hours later its still attached, turns out theres a loop that goes around the axel shaft and connects to the alternator, and to get it off you need to use voodoo slut magic because i see no other posible way. so im just about fed up with this car and its bull shit. i just felt like telling you all.

sorry i failed to mention that no the battery was bought in july

and no its not that its a battery that wont hold the charge, its that you need a fucking doctorate in mechanical engineering to remove the fucking alternator. read and maybe you wouldn't have to come to a conclusion that im bitching about a dead battery...
