Those were actually totally different. They were fully built 4 cyl professional race cars. This division is supposed to be more of a entry level amateur division. Basically a regular car with a cage and a fuel cell. I may even concider this one. All depends on what night they run. The 8 cyl pure stocks run on Fridays, which is no good to me. sad.gif

Oh so its kind of like a pure stock division only 4 bangers instead huh? I was assuming formula 4 again.

I'd do it, but they wouldn't let me do the spectator drags anymore if I did I don't think.
mike
i would definily consider it i just need to look for a car

I remember this from a few years back. If I remember correctly, the VW's kicked ass every week. There were a ton of Golf's, I'd say about 90%. I think they wanted to bring the trucks in because NASCAR Craftsman series was very popular at the time. So they kicked the 4 bangers out. The sound of 24 4 cyl. at the same time is quite different.

Those were the Forula Four cars, a 4 cyl stock car. This division is a Pure Stock, basically an Enduro car. Big difference the car's set up. The trucks were also there for years before they pulled away from the Formula fours. You are right about the VWs though. Mostly Rabbits, but some Golfs.

I would consider something like this, but as soon as I enter a division then that's no more spectator drags for me forever. I think there's a rule about that.
