I like pioneer radios, but the new ones look really bad, Alpine did the same thing. I love Alpine Headunits to this day, but all the new Alpines and pioneers have these big goofy knobs in the middle of all places...what the hell are these people thinking that design this stuff?

Antique radios, the radios from the 50's had a big goofy knob in the middle of it. I hope that's not what they're after LOL

One thing that i concern myself with in buying speakers is the speakers rating for efficiency. This is given in a percentage rating, like, 97%, or 98.5%, ect.

The efficiency rating for a speaker is just that, how efficient it is. if 100% of the energy going in comes out, then the speaker is 100% efficient. But this is not possible, because most of the energy is transformed into sound, a little but is changed into heat, and a little more into electro-magnetic radiation.




To speak easy, a speaker that is 98% efficient will be louder than a speaker that is 95% efficient if both are given the exact same input power.


I love the infinity series and those prices look to me to be about the average. The only speakers i would take over the infinity's are "Boston Acoustik" and "Bose"

As mentioned before, Ebay and Craigslist will be your best bets in finding these cheap. Or maybe you can get one from a junkyard that happened to recieve a wreck that had those speakers in it. Should that be the case, you can just wipe the blood off, install and enjoy!

these Infinty kappa's are for sale online only models or local audio palaces. these Infinty kappa models are a higher models that they dont sell at bestbuy

i have not decided yet if i will make him a KITT or KARR until then he is just KITT

if i get a chance and my account is stilla ctive with one of my old reps i will see what i can do on a price for those infinity speakers for you be careful buying them on e-bay shitty warranty if they advertise one good luck getting a hold of them and infinity will laugh at you if you have a problem. My personal recomendation is Boston Acoustics and i can send you to a local place that sells them. the guys are good shit. PM me if you wanna look into that

The name of the Place is Beyond Boxes they specialize in custom speaker enclosures and deal mostl;y with local shops but they do have a small store front for the public and they also make all boston accoustics pre fab boxes for them like if you were to buy a boston prefab box from boston these are the guys that make it they can make a box for just about any thing they are located in Dartmouth and i know a few guys on here have seen some of there work the maxima from ROTM last month we got his box from those guys if you have an issue getting their number just shoot me a pm and i will get it for you i only have the owners cell number the card with the number on it is in storage somewere but they are on RT6 in dartmouth
