My mistake. I meant to say HKS 3 in exhaust. And its the "Hi-Power" I dont think they make anything but.
Not a real big issue with power loss but it does seam to run a bit rich right after pressure release. Until I have time to go in and tune it myself to fix it I will just deal with it. Its a problem with all MAF cars that get modded to an unrecirculated BOV.
The harnesses are sweet, do you have the bar?
Have it tighten it as far as it will go. Also is he running an aftermarket intake at all?
No I don't have the bar but I am going to get one. Our seats aren't really set up for them

Thats why I don't run a bov. I have heard a lot of people say that they have problems with them.
i'm sure if you recirculate it you'll be fine...thats how it is with DSM's people..car runs rich when you shift..just get one you can recirculate...the HKS's you can and the Greddy's you can

Yeah, kinda of a pain in the ass but the amount of rigidity that is seen by just that one suspension piece is amazing.
Looking to buy some seats? Im sponsored by NRG Innovations, I could hook it up

I haven't decided yet. I think the stock seats are really comfortable for a daily driver.

Yup your right. Just be sure to recirculate it after the MAF sensor. But like I mentioned before with it tightened all teh way its just slightly rich whe the pressure is released which doesnt hurt anything much.

I agree. As long as you have the harnesses to keep you hed down your fine. The OE seatbelts with the lack of bulster in the seats is very intereting around hairy turns.

Honestly, I like the WRX a lot. 04-05 are my favorite body styles. The only reason I don't like them: everyone and their mom seems to have one. I would still get one in a heartbeat though if I had the money for one in the condition that I'd want. In Aspen white.

STi, I know...but DAMN thats sexy.

Aspen white is the hottest color. If you find an Aspen white with gold bbs wheels from 2004 it is a real rare color combo. I also like the Java Black

you know how i feel bitch tits just do it! as far as a srt4 goes there fast but compared to a wrx handle like garbage and remember spinining aint winning. its relativly cheap to make them fucking quick and you can almost always find a sti that has been wrapped around a tree by some dumbass 16 yr old for a tranny swap

Buying a stock turbo car gives more to build off of (of thats what you're looking for) and it much more reliable (unless you spend big bucks getting a professional kit and paying for it to be professional installed by somewhere reputable.)
I still think Hyland should get a Rex! Aspen white 04-05 so I can steal it.

If you have the money, then do it up...but I know from experience...make sure you do it right the 1st time. You can't cheap out on engine mods, or you'll pay for it more-so down the road. Just my bit of old-person advice. hahah

I like the WRX/STI cars they are definetly awesome, and are veryu impressive cars, I would prefer the Subaru over the SRT not to say the Neon isn't cool too, but you get what you pay for, the SRT is still a Neon, and the Subaru has alot more options and features, also I am yet to see a Mopar/DSM/ any turboed car from the late 80's to present hold up.....they go like hell but don't last long.......If........and I say if, I was looking to buy a car in that catorgory it would be at the top of my list.

I own an SRT-4 as most of you know and have been in a few WRX's, and out of the box SRT>WRX.
That being said a Cobb stage 2 flash with and exhaust will make it a whole different animal.
I/E and adjustable wastegate really wakes up SRT's.
WRX handles better than the SRT unless you get an ACR then it’s a drivers race.
As for problems with the SRT third gear gives out quicker than the other gears, and once you begin to mod you need to get better tires to get traction from a dig.
My biased advice for you is to take each car for a drive stock and modded then make your decision.
You can take my car for a spin the next time I get a chance to go to a meet.
